The weather in Ha Giang ranges from freezing winters at 0 c to scorching summers at 40 c. Be sure to pack appropriate clothes for this!

You can store the rest of your things at our homebase in Ha Giang, We have private lockers.

The winter December to March can be cold with tempatures getting down to 0 c

The summer June to August the tempature can reach 40 c

Things to always bring with you

  • A bag that can fit on a motorbike

  • Driving licence / permits (if you’re self driving)

  • Travel insurance (encouraged)

  • Charger (& portable charger)

  • Waterproofs (provided by Road Kings)

  • Suncream

  • Cash (small notes for bathrooms (3-5k)

  • Sunglasses

  • Camera/phone

  • Headphones

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Toiletries

  • 3/4 t-shirts

  • 2 trousers/shorts

  • Fleece/jumper/Jacket/Gloves/Scarf/Pants

  • Towel ( for swim spots) homestays will provide towels at night

  • Medicine

  • Toilet paper (some bathrooms don’t have)

  • Swimwear (all year people swim)
