2 Day Tour

You’ll arrive in Ha Giang the night before your tour starts. Meet others doing the loop with you, grab some food at the taco restaurant next door and get some rest at our hostel in the shared dorm (if you’d prefer a private room, let us know and we can arrange this for a small fee).

Day 1: Ha Giang - Dong Van (140km)

  • Start your day with breakfast at the hostel. If you haven’t already, here’s the chance to meet the other people on your group.

  • We’ll run through the itinerary with you and explain each stop (if you’ve not paid your final balance now’s the time for that, we’ll also sort your return bus journeys if you need us to).

  • You’ll meet your easy rider (if you have requested one) and begin the tour!

  • First stop is the Ha Giang 0km sign

  • Twin mountains - a lovely sight to behold from the road, over the well-shaped twin mountain lying in middle of a green valley.

  • Moon rocks viewpoint - many Hmong people live around this site, truly does feel like being on the moon. We will grab lunch around here too.

  • Lo Lo village/Flag viewpoint - visiting Lolo village is very special to so many guests. Being able to visit the most northern village and see their way of life.

  • Dong Van city - enjoy a walk around in the evening. Lots of old buildings, pubs, street food and if you’re lucky maybe a bonfire with the locals in the city center.

Day 2: Dong Van - Ha Giang (140km)

  • Start the day by testing your fear of heights. If you’re brave enough, you can take on the Sky Walk and get an awesome photo overlooking the valley and villages below.

  • Only a few minutes away, we’ll stop at Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most breathtaking views that you’ll see on the entire Ha Giang Loop.

  • Nho Que river viewpoint - stunning jade coloured waters winding around the rollong cliffs of Ha Giang

  • Tham Ma pass - this is the road you’ve likely seen on Instagram, a winding s shaped road with a great view point from above

  • Heaven gate viewpoint - a busy coffee shop on the loop and with good reason, enjoy the fantastic views and meet other groups doing the loop.

  • You’ll return to Phuot House where you’ll sadly say goodbye to your awesome guide, easy riders and new-found friends.
