"... The group sizes are capped at 8 people (there were 7 of us on our tour) so it feels like a more intimate experience and you can get to know everyone. It's social, without feeling like you're on a 4 day rave. Because the groups are smaller it means that you can take quieter routes and avoid all the bigger, louder tours who aren't able to get to certain spots...."

"The homestays were much better than what we expected and we were really happy with the drivers, next to funny they are all super secure on the road and are able to handle every risky situation safely and without a problem. "Highly recommend Road Kings if you’re looking for a smaller group and to visit places where not all the groups go. Matt and Paul are awesome, making sure everyone has everything they need. The easy riders were amazing. The kindness they show to their riders is so lovely and they’re a lot of fun! The food was delicious everyday and always plenty for everyone! It’s a great choice"

"...We had Kahn and Duke (4D 3N), and they treated us like royalty. From helping strap down bags each day to helping us put on our safety gear, bringing us insane amounts of food, buying us drinks at every stop (like 5-6 a day easily) to telling us jokes along the way. Each night you’ll have a private room, more food than you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and TONS of incredible views and activities along the way. Seriously don’t even consider booking anywhere else. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten SO much value out of a trip. I’ll never forget it! I WILL BE BACK!"

An easy rider is someone who will drive the bike for you

The bus will bring you to our hostel dorm where you will spend the night before starting the loop. If you’d prefer a private room please let us know and we can arrange this for you (for an extra fee).

Yes, and there are many buses leaving Ha Giang after when we get back on the last day. You just need to tell us at least a day in advance.

Pack a small backpack and leave your larger bag(s) at our hostel. Bring sunblock, warm clothes, swimwear and small notes

Yes, we have had many happy vegans on the tour and other special diets. There are yummy options for everyone.

If you are not an experienced driver, I would advise you to not drive yourself. The loop is very dangerous and chaotic. If you are an experienced rider (and hold an international drivers permit) you can of course drive the loop yourself - we can help you to organize bike hire.

Both tours travel 400km! The 4-day breaks up the travel a lot nicer.On the 3rd night, you will stay at a very special homestay then on the 4th day, you will visit a cave and a hidden waterfall that most people say is the best they've ever seen.
